Emily was born in 1987, three months prematurely. Emily suffered serious brain damage at birth that resulted in Quadraplegic Cerebral Palsy and Hydrocephalus. Emily cannot walk, talk, is visually impaired, and has to be tube-fed. She will be fully dependent on others for the rest of her life.
Despite her condition, Emily is a happy, fun-loving lady, with a smile that would gladden the saddest of hearts.
Emily is here to make us glad not sad. She is a secret teacher and her special life can be a lesson to us all.
